Island Elder Care

Depending on the individualized care plan, residents are assisted with their medication, meals, staying in touch with family and friends, and any other reminders needed for health, safety, and well-being. We are specially certified to care for the needs of those with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. A Registered Nurse is always on call.

For family caregivers who need a break, we offer respite care with additional special amenities. Book a stay of 7 to 30 days- we encourage families to plan ahead but accept admissions on an urgent basis if a room is available.

Additional amenities and services are available such as massage, physical therapy, and coordination of annual physicals. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to enhance quality of life for your loved one.

A comprehensive care planning process involving all caregivers ensures that each resident receives as much help with personal hygiene as they need.

Residents who have mobility issues are assisted by trained, experienced caregivers in all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and personal care. 

We are always available to assist with coordinating medical care, with day-to-day services focused on how to best help each individual with their activities of daily living.
